What The Company Covers

Business Expenses Covered for You

Your Services Agreement with Zarova Media, LLC defines a specific category called "Covered Expenses" — costs the Company pays directly, or reimburses you for, when they're incurred in the course of your work. This isn't a vague promise; it's contract language. Here's exactly what it covers and how it applies to your situation in Thailand.

Category 1 — Home Studio / Workspace
Your apartment rent — where your video and photo production is actually set up
Your current rent is $3,000/month. Because this space is where your video and photo studio setup actually lives — not just an incidental home office — the rent is a legitimate direct business expense of producing your content, not a personal living cost. This is treated as a real, confirmed cost in your financial model, distinct from the general "reasonably incurred" catch-all below.
Confirmed — Financial Model, Item 5

Why this matters — Most of your production work happens in this space, which is exactly what makes the rent a defensible business expense rather than a personal one. Keep this distinction in mind if the space is ever used for anything unrelated to your content work — the deductible portion should track how the space is actually used.

Category 2 — Travel & On-Location Work
Travel to and from your place of business, and to "On Location Services"
"On Location Services" means work you do somewhere other than your usual base — the Company's place of business, client meetings, promotional events, conferences, seminars, or any other in-person event the Company asks you to attend. Covered costs include:
  • Fuel
  • Taxis / rideshares
  • Airfare or train fare
  • Accommodation while traveling
  • Meals while traveling
  • Other related expenses incurred in getting to and from the location

How this applies to you in Thailand — If Zarova Media asks you to travel within Thailand (or elsewhere) for a shoot, a promotional event, a conference, or any other in-person work the Company requires, your transport, accommodation, and meals for that trip are Covered Expenses — either paid directly by the Company or reimbursed to you. This is squarely what the contract language is built for.

Category 3 — General Costs of Providing Services
All costs and expenses reasonably incurred in the course of providing your Services
Beyond travel specifically, the agreement includes a broader catch-all: any cost reasonably incurred while doing the work itself is a Covered Expense, not something you pay for out of pocket without reimbursement.

How Reimbursement Actually Works

Covered Expenses are paid either directly by the Company, or reimbursed to you — the agreement gives the Company the choice, based on what's practical for a given cost. Reimbursed amounts are paid out alongside your regular Services Agreement fee.

What this doesn't cover — General personal living expenses (rent, day-to-day meals at home, personal shopping) aren't Covered Expenses under this clause — the coverage is tied to costs incurred specifically in providing your services, not your everyday cost of living. If you're ever unsure whether something qualifies, the simplest test is: would this cost exist if the Company hadn't asked you to do this specific piece of work? If yes, flag it — if it's a stretch, it's worth asking before assuming it's covered.
